  • Adhere to all Owens Corning and Plant specific requirements when properly handling, moving and storing metal.
  • Always ensure the work area is clean and organized and free of trip hazards prior to, during and after completing the task.
  • Always use the required PPE according to the task.
  • Recognize, report and correct safety hazards upon identification


  • Complete transfer transactions for work orders/ purchase order material
  • Manage inventory supply for processing and finished products
  • Complete and record all quality data
  • Maintain and initiate tooling orders
  • Transactions of metals from GAT
  • Prepare all documents for Shipping
  • Prepare all documents for inventory

Machine Operation

  • Ensure correct tooling setup and alignments for several machines simultaneously
  • CNC Lathe Machine, Bend Machine, Weld Machine, Driller Machine, Wire Draw Machine, Rod Mill Machine, Straightener Machine, Press, Ultrasonic Cleaning Machine, Oven Operation
  • Precision Machine/Tooling Setup (Daily)
  • Basic Equipment PM
  • Drilling, milling, grinding, wiring, polishing, bending, welding, straightening, fusing, etc.
  • Properly install program into machines and adjust accordingly
  • CNC Lathe knowledge 
  • Extruding Knowledge
  • Maintain Tooling/Equipment condition
  • Troubleshoot/Resolve setup/ product quality issues
  • Extruding, swaging, bending, welding, etc.
  • Properly setup the machines and adjust accordingly


  • Follow all process controls and provide documentation
  • Conduct parts cleaning and ultrasonic cleaning operations
  • Examine all plates, tubing and eyelet dimensions for complete accuracy
  • Inspect for all ensure compliance of all products characteristics
  • Identify abnormalities and find solution
  • Complete dye tests to find leakages


  • Ensure all material is tracked and accounted for through all process
  • Conduct daily/ weekly/ monthly cleaning schedules of all equipment
  • Ensure inventories are maintained within allow targets and production quantity requirements

Regular attendance and commitment to working as scheduled

Other duties as assigned or needed

  • Flexible to changes that are needed to meet business demands



  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent


  • 1 – 2 years of manufacturing experience
  • TIG Welding
  • Wire Draw Certification
  • Bending Certification
  • CNC Machine Certification
