About the position

Paroc, our Stonewool business, manufactures and provide insulation material that help consumers and industries reducing their energy consumption. Here at Owens Corning we are fully engaged in reducing our CO2 emission by a series of ongoing investments.

We are looking for a Commercial Finance Leader who will be partnering closely with our 2 General Managers (GM), to define and provide guidelines for our product and pricing strategy. This, in order to deliver and sustain investment grade margins. As a member of the Finance Leadership Team you will also be accountable for supervising rebate processes across the business, coordinating commercial forecasting activites and developing your team.

This is a pivotal role in the success of our business, balancing engaged commercial discussion (you have authority to challenge our commercial choices!) with more analytical work to identify and remediate outliers. You will be leading, and coaching a team of 4 Commercial Financial Controllors spread across Europe, who wil provide you support in the commercial and financial decisions you make.

What does success look like?

• Ability to build strong partnerships with our business GM to define commercial choices to sustain industry margin benchark
• Develop commercial excellence capabilities and financial savviness across the teams
• Design rebate process and set guidelines (with GMs) to ensure effective level of internal controls
• Develop and turn a pool of 4 commercial analsyts into commercial excellence expert and high performing team
• Successful candidate will be included in our succession pipeline for Finance Director roles

• Strong business mindset. You are curious about our customer needs and able to translate these in our value proposition and pricing guidelines
• An analytical mindset and skills; using data to develop and deliver insights and connecting the numbers with the markets is essential
• Financial acumen: master in the concept of margin and Price Volume Mix analysis

• Conducting yourself with the highest ethical and moral standards

Business requirements

• Minimum Bachelor and / or Master degree. Preferably a MBA degree or equivalent
• 10+ years of Finance and / or Commercial Excellence experience
• Proven, inspirational Leader with the ability to lead vertically and horizontally
• Location: This is a Remote position, based in the countries Finland, Sweden, the Baltic states or Poland. Also possible to be based from our European sites in Scandinavia and the Baltic states.
