PURPOSE OF THE JOB

The Global Sourcing and Supply Chain COE’s (Center of Excellence) strategy is focused on growing our business partnership and delivering market leading spend management and value creation through innovation, digitization, and sustainability.  Our approach maximizes the function’s impact by leveraging OC’s enterprise strength with COE led programs and delivering market-leading results through local ownership and execution.

The Sr. Sourcing Professional, Digital will partner with the Digital Transformation Sourcing Manager, Sourcing COE team and relevant stakeholders to enable user-centric digital tools, efficient sourcing processes & data-driven insights that maximize our digital investments and advance Global Sourcing’s Buy Better Spend Better strategy. This role will become an expert in Global Sourcing’s digital platforms & processes.

The Sr. Sourcing Professional, Digital will ensure that the Global Sourcing team and relevant stakeholders maximize the benefits of digital investments and comply with business policy through a focus on education & adoption management, user experience and KPI management related to utilization & value creation. The successful candidate will demonstrate deep experience in the Source to Contract cycle, continuous improvement mindset, change agent capabilities, and ability to develop & deliver meaningful learning & development content. A passion to challenge the status quo and a partnership mind-set to support the digital transformation of the Global Sourcing function is also essential.

Reports to:  Sourcing Manager, Global Sourcing Digital Worker & Transformation

Span of Control:  Individual Contributor

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Advance Source COE Digital Transformation

  • Support digital tool adoption and process efficiencies through effective deployment plans, education & change management
  • Act as a key project leader or project team member for initiatives on the Sourcing COE’s strategic roadmap
  • Develop & maintain metrics to measure adoption and maximize impact of digital investments & user experience
  • Contribute to the review, revision & optimization of Global Sourcing policies & processes to maximize digital investments and create efficiencies in how we work
  • Develop and maintain Global Sourcing’s onboarding and ongoing education strategy to drive employee engagement and empowerment
  • Embed Buy Better Spend Better strategy into Global Sourcing process enhancements
  • Develop and communicate best practices and learnings across the organization to drive connection & learning
  • Utilize RPM to drive impactful project leadership, including regular updates to leader, GS NLT, and other stakeholder leadership teams
  • Resolution of Internal Audit prioritized risks related to Sourcing policies

JOB REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • An undergraduate degree in business, finance, or related field of study
  • 3-5 years of Sourcing experience with an emphasis on competitive bid process & contract process experience
  • Significant knowledge of the Source to Contract and Procure to Pay processes
  • Proven self-starter
  • Strong business system (SAP), office productivity tools, and equivalent systems capabilities

EXPERIENCE:

  • Experience in sourcing, procurement, or operations with progressive responsibilities
  • Results and impact-driven business partner with experience in influencing others
  • Development and delivery of effective educational content, i.e., onboarding, annual training certification
  • Project management experience
  • Creative problem-solver and strong change agent
